Details of the hand laid strips fused on the enamel create the striking centrepiece surrounded by the outline of the black silver.
A hand decorated large enamel disc and a contrasting oxidised silver long bar were set in the raised oxidised silver brooch back to create a monochrome colour palette.
Inspired by mark-making practice, Mizuki creates the enamel surface design by hand on the very final fired coat, after building the layers of at least 5 fired coats of enamel.
Individually hand drawn pieces are all unique and no two are the same.
